It is with great excitement that I can confirm our Bishop has instructed in person services will resume on Sunday 14th February! I have missed seeing your beautiful faces, and am looking forward to worshiping together again. Given our experience last year, we have decided to only have ONE service per Sunday @ 08h30 until the restricted number of 50 is reached and it makes sense to offer two services. As leadership we continue to expect a series of rolling lockdowns for 2021 and have therefore made preparations to also live stream our services on the zoom platform. We will be experimenting with zoom at our evening Ash Wednesday Service @18h00. We hope that this combination of in person and live stream will encourage a sense of the whole community worshiping together even if not physically co-located. It will be a learning curve and we trust your grace as we navigate this new complexity!
Our Gospel this morning points to how Jesus grounds his entire ministry in personal prayer. We understand that this time of prayer empowers him for the healing miracles, gives him discernment in where God is leading, and informs his preaching and teaching. This raises for us the promise of what a community of praying people are able to achieve in God’s grace. As we pray individually and collectively God will refresh us, empower us for ministry, grant us discernment to follow where He leads, and allow us to do wonderful things in His name.

I am praying for you, please continue to pray for me.
With love and light always.
